Philatelic issue: 100th anniversary of the birth of Stanisław Lem

The year 2021 has been declared the Year of Stanisław Lem, an outstanding Polish writer, futurologist and philosopher, a representative of Polish fantasy and one of the most widely read science fiction writers in the world. On this occasion, on the 100th anniversary of the writer's birth, Poczta Polska issued a portrait stamp. The entire sheet of the issue was issued in the form of téte-béche, i.e. inverted stamps, one in relation to the other. Poczta Polska also issued a new print, containing elements visible only under UV light.
